The article is written by Yvonne Buunk-Werkhoven and Selma Burrekers.
Yvonne is a psychologist, oral hygienist and independent researcher in the interface between social psychology and preventive oral healthcare; promotion and prevention measures, education and behavioral change.
Selma is an experienced dental hygienist with her own practice in Groningen, The Netherands.
The article is based on research data collected by employees of Bocas Sanas in 2015.
This data was processed in a graduation thesis by two dental care students and the results were then published in a scientific article that was posted on the Juniper Publishers website.
